To breathe in a concentration of history, literature and nature, it is worth taking a trip to the Latin Land. Between perfectly preserved villages, ruins of the Roman Empire, gardens and breathtaking beaches, the entire area is full of suggestions: starting from the Homeric legends, ending with the magic of the Gardens of Ninfa and the Abbey of Fossanova, here legends and pages of history intersect seamlessly. Like in Sperlonga, where the suggestive Grotta di Tiberio is located, with its pool and its scenic fountains and alcoves.

In fact, the entire coast is full of caves and ravines, so much so that it has been renamed the Riviera of Ulysses: here the Mediterranean scrub plunges wildly into the Tyrrhenian Sea and helps keep alive and present the myth of the hero with multifaceted genius and that of the sorceress Circe. This is where the name and mystery of the Circeo Natural Park originate, a high promontory overlooking the crystalline sea below, immersed in spectacular nature and surrounded by characteristic villages. A magnificent place that has always been a meeting point between nature, history and myth.

A day trip sailing in the waters of the wonderful island of Ponza is not to be missed: sandy coasts, white cliffs, historical evidence, caves and clear waters make it the pearl of the Pontine Islands, all in less than eight square kilometers. Whether it is history, art, myth or legend, moments of rest, contemplation of nature, or tasting the products of the generous territory, the Terra Latina is a place capable of offering exciting moments for all tastes.

1 day Anagni
We leave in the morning from the chosen location. Along the way there is a stop for a free lunch. In the afternoon we reach the ancient city of Anagni, which gave birth to four popes. Known as the “city of the slap”, Anagni is embellished with one of the most beautiful medieval architectural complexes in Italy. Walking through the historic center in the company of the guide we visit the cathedral with its splendid frescoed crypt and the palace of Boniface VIII, the scene of important historical events. We reach the hotel in Latina where dinner awaits us.

2 day Ponza
In the morning we embark for the island of Ponza. Upon arrival, a walk with the guide awaits us, and then we have some free time before lunch at the restaurant based on local specialties. In the afternoon it is possible to participate in an optional boat tour of the island which, from the sea, offers glimpses of great beauty. Those who wish can then enjoy a swim in the transparent waters of the island. We return to the hotel where dinner awaits us.

3 day Sermoneta Caetani Castle
The first stop of the day is the beautiful Garden of Ninfa, a true natural monument and “garden of delights” of the Caetani family. We walk among the ancient buildings of the abandoned city of Ninfa, among churches and civil buildings surrounded by nature of disarming beauty. We then continue to the nearby Sermoneta, where lunch awaits us at the restaurant. In the afternoon we walk with the guide through the historic center of this enchanting village dominated by the Caetani Castle. Before returning, we stop at a winery for a visit with tasting of local wines. Dinner awaits us at the hotel.

4 day Gaeta - Sperlonga
Our journey in the Latin Land continues with a visit to Gaeta, a charming town overlooking the gulf of the same name. As a first stop, we visit the Sanctuary of the Holy Trinity, which offers a spectacular view of the gulf. With the guide, we then go down to the town for a walk in the medieval quarter and along the seafront. Lunch is free. In the afternoon, we reach Sperlonga, rightly considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. With the guide, we visit the Villa of Tiberius and the famous Grotto, where the sculptural group now preserved in the Archaeological Museum was found. We return to the hotel for dinner.

5 day Circeo
Today is dedicated to the discovery of Terracina and San Felice del Circeo. In the morning we reach Terracina, and with the guide we visit this little gem, with the Foro Emiliano and the scenic Piazza Municipio. After a free lunch we move to San Felice del Circeo, where we have some time available for a bit of relaxation on the beach, or to participate in an optional boat excursion to discover the caves of the promontory, among which the most famous is that of the Sorceress Circe. We return to the hotel for dinner.
