Villa Montefalco is a large villa surrounded by the
vineyards of Montefalco, in the countryside of Umbria's
region.
Has been the Zuccari Montefalco family's residence since
the end of the 16th century. The current owner, Paolo
Zuccari, has transformed it into a relais de charme,
with an extensive park and a large swimming pool.
The Reception is a large, airy room enhanced by a hand-worked
and painted, 19th-century terra cotta tile ceiling,
brought to light during the long, painstaking restoration.
The bar, also known as the Winter Garden, has a fabulous
veranda on the Italian garden. A buffet breakfast with
homemade sweets is served in this very relaxing and
charming spot.
Villa has tastefully furnished, spacious and light filled
rooms each with private terrace overlooking the Italian
gardens and the Umbrian countryside.
The
cottage, facing the Italian garden, the cottage can
accommodate up to 8 persons in three double rooms and
two living rooms.
The
kitchen with sitting room opens onto a small, private
garden equipped for open-air dining.
Guests can also rent just part of the cottage.
The meeting room, which has three windows facing a small
garden, can accommodate up to 60 persons. Standard audio/video
facilities available.
